SICK - O
I finally had the energy to write something new in this blog amidst endless sniffing and coughing. I hate colds rather than coughs. Running after my athletic nose while I find difficulty breathing. Yet, I decided to work the entire day though I really wasn't able to accomplish much. A few phone calls, accompanied Ate O at Divi, finished liquidation, etc etc. I wasn't my usual bubbly self. I can't think much or create concepts needed for the next month. I feel rather tired and bored but not really sad or depressed.
For the past few weeks I've been busy messing-up my life. Tama ang boss ko, i could really get a bit crazy at times (Btw, thanks nina for that beautiful thai shawl). Still, i manage to go back to being a normal, logical person. For those who know "the situation", i think i am officially over him now. Last Sunday's incident made me think hard about falling for this guy. As much as i want to, i can't stay crazy forever. I have my family to think about, and a career to pursue.
Books I've read recently: Confessions of a Shopaholic (a truly hilarious book! isa yata ito sa mga librong nakarelate ako ng sobra), Da Vinci Code (I don't agree to everything the author has written, but fact or fiction, it was very well written), and most recently, The Hours by Michael Cunningham (it was made into a film, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to see it. The story is dark, about death and living (or trying to). It made me a little depressed. After reading this book, im more intrigued to know more about Virginia Woolf). Eros Pinoy (a compilation of erotic poems by Filipino poets. I would love to own a copy, but it was rather expensive, oh well, maybe it would be on sale soon...i hope).
Got a chance to see the film "Sylvia" (a movie about the late poet, Sylvia Plath). Like The Hours, It was dark and depressing. Yet, I enjoyed watching it because it isn't commercial, and Gwyneth's acting was good. I think Plath's poetry is dark but amazingly captivating. Coz of the film, i'm now into poetry.
Aww man, I can't breathe anymore. I think i have to end this for now (sniff, sniff)...
